Steven Tyler has quit Aerosmith, according to the group's guitarist, Joe Perry. The singer has said he wants to work on solo material Perry told a newpaper in Las Vegas: "Steven quit as far as I can tell. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. I don't know for how long, indefinitely or whatever."
